Stafford v. Crucible
Hartwood Supervisor Joe Brito let me know that the Crucible hearing at the Virginia State Supreme Court has been set for 9 a.m. on Wednesday (4/15). Apparently, all cases are scheduled for 9, so it’s difficult to say what time the court will get to “Board of Supervisors of Stafford County, et al. v. Crucible, Inc.” The hearing will take place in the Virginia Supreme Court Building: 100 N 9th St., Richmond, VA 23219.
It’s one of 15 civil cases being heard by the court in April, and could be precedent-setting in terms of determining the vested rights of a property owner.
Brito plans on attending, and reminds anyone going to show up early and leave electronic devices (including cell phones) behind.
