Spotsy supervisors to interview deputy county administrator finalists next week
The Spotsylvania County Board of Supervisors will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10 to interview finalists for the deputy county administrator position.
The interviews will take place in closed session at the Holbert Building, 9104 Courthouse Road.
It’s unclear if supervisors will hire someone after meeting privately.
The county received 104 applications for the opening to replace Ernie Pennington, who retired as deputy county administrator at the end of October. A subcommittee—which includes the HR director, the county administrator and Supervisors David Ross and Emmitt Marshall—was tasked with narrowing the applicant pool to three.
