Volunteers needed for Oct. 6 run in Spotsy

The Spotsylvania County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking volunteers for the 10th annual Stonewall Jackson Run on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 6. Volunteers are needed to man water stops and intersections along the 20-mile course. Interested people should contact Brian Barnes at 540-507-7534 or bbarnes@spotsylvania.va.us. A Spotsylvania information alert notes that it’s a great opportunity for students to receive service hours for school.
