Chancellor Convenience Center to collect hazardous waste and computer items on Sept. 29
Spotsylvania County residents can dispose of household hazardous waste and computer equipment from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at Chancellor Convenience Center, 5917 Harrison Road.
Acceptable hazardous waste includes pest-control chemicals, cleaning solvents and swimming pool additives.
Acceptable computer items–which can be recycled at Chancellor year-round–include central processing units, keyboards, printers, laptops and speakers. Goodwill Industries will recycle the old computer equipment.
The Chancellor Convenience Center will not accept hazardous waste or computer equipment from businesses. It requires some proof of residency.
