Spotsylvania Fire and Rescue Commission meets tonight
Spotsylvania County’s Fire and Emergency Medical Services Commission meets tonight at 7 in the Holbert Building, 9104 Courthouse Road. The nine-member board is scheduled to receive updates on training and staffing.
Members may also discuss 24/7 coverage. The Board of Supervisors, which has four new members, last night agreeed to seek input from the commission on how to provide round-the-clock coverage from fire and rescue stations that sometimes aren’t staffed.
Supervisors have said there may be less-costly options.
