Spotsylvania Crime Solvers

Spotsylvania Crime Solvers is seeking information on these crimes:

Tobacco Hut, 3500 Plank Road, reported that on Dec. 14 at 8:40 p.m., an employee was robbed at gun point by two black males. The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. CFS 11-0142465

E.F. Thompson Inc., 8509 Jefferson Davis Highway, reported that during the late hours on Dec. 13, someone broke into the business and stole six Michelin tires valued at $1,063. CFS 11-0142283

A resident on Dovey Road reported that between 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 13 and 9 p.m. on Dec. 14, someone broke into the residence and stole a gold tennis bracelet with diamonds valued at $1,000, a gold engagement ring with diamonds valued at $2,000, a gold wedding ring valued at $200, a sapphire necklace valued at $400, and several other items. A resident on Timber Ridge Drive in Timber Ridge reported that sometime between 1 and 2 p.m. on Dec. 14, someone entered the home and stole a Nintendo Wii system valued at $200, a black Play Station 3 game system valued at $200, an Xbox Kinect system valued at $400, and a Leapster innovative learning pad valued at $80. A resident on Belmont Road reported that between 7:15 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 14, someone entered an unlocked home and stole a black 32-inch Toshiba LCD television valued at $500, a black 35-inch Samsung LCD television valued at $500, and a black 16 GB iPad valued at $400. CFS 11-0142452

In Rollingwoods, a resident on Castaway Beach Road reported that between Dec. 10 and 15, someone broke into the residence and stole a blue Hitachi radial saw valued at $200, a black Play Station game system and about 25 games valued at more than $1,000, and about 12 bottles of wine with a total value of $240. CFS 11-0142918

Between 2:30 and 5:15 p.m. on Dec. 16, a resident on the 9000 block of Catharpin Road reported that someone broke into the residence and stole a black 42-inch Samsung LCD TV valued at $500, a black 22-inch Panasonic LCD TV/DVD combo valued at $200, and a black Sony DVD player valued at $150. A resident on the 7000 block of Stubbs Bridge Road reported that sometime between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Dec. 19, someone entered the residence and stole a black Panasonic flat screen TV valued at $600, a white Nintendo Wii valued at $250, a Nintendo DS system valued at $250, 39 bottles of assorted wines valued at $600, a Dell laptop computer and an external hard drive valued at more than $200, and an assortment of clothing, cosmetics, and consumable goods. A cargo trailer located on a construction site on River Road was broken into between 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 13 and 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 14. A yellow generator valued at $400, a water pump valued at $400, five spade shovels valued at $100, 75 feet of copper tubing valued at $2,000, a Dewalt grinder valued at $80, and a Skil saw valued at $50 were stolen. Between 6:15 p.m. on Dec. 15 and 5 a.m. on Dec. 16, seven unlocked vehicles in the area of Heron Pointe Way were entered and five GPS units, DVDs, and a blue Bosch hand drill were stolen. CFS 11-0143024, 11-143026, 11-143605

A woman reported that between 6 and 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 16, she parked her vehicle in the parking lot of Learn and Play, 4600 Lee Hill School Drive, to pick up a child. Her vehicle was unlocked and her purse was in the back seat. When she returned her purse containing credit cards and checks was stolen. Several charges on those credit cards were made shortly after the theft. CFS 11-0143313

On Maple Springs Drive in Lees Hill North, someone entered an unlocked garage and stole a yellow Titan 9000-watt generator valued at $3,500 and one case of 1900s sterling silver valued at $6,000 between 7 p.m. on Dec. 18 and 10 a.m. on Dec. 19. CFS 11-0144275

Between 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 19 and 2 a.m. on Dec. 20, someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the 6000 block of Courthouse Road and stole a Pioneer CD player valued at $300 and about $5 in change. CFS 11-0144579

During the overnight hours on Dec. 19, a resident on Cloverdale Street reported that someone broke into her vehicle and stole $50 in silver coins from a change purse. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle. Several unlocked vehicles in the area were entered during this time period. CFS 11-014490, 11-0144644

An unlocked vehicle parked in the Muvico Cinemas Parking lot, 51 Towne Centre Blvd. was entered on Dec. 16, between 5 and 9:30 p.m., and a backpack containing several school books and notebooks was stolen. CFS 11-0143374

On Dec. 14 someone stole two propane tanks from the back porch of a home in the area of Blue Herron Circle in Summers Landing. CFS 11-0142645
