Between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Oct. 10, someone forced entry into a home on Tulip Circle in Spotswood Estates and stole $1,200 in cash. CFS 11-0115655
Rite Aid Cosners Corner, 10100 Jefferson Davis Highway, reported that on Oct. 5 between noon and 12:30 p.m., two black males entered the store and purchased items with stolen credit cards. One man had on thick black-frame glasses, and was wearing a black windbreaker, black jeans, black shoes and a black cap. The other man was tall and thin, and was wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, tan Timberland boots and a black ball cap with “NY” on it. After the men purchased items from the store, it was discovered the credit card used may have been stolen. The subject wearing the black windbreaker was asked to come back into the store. Once the man was in the store, the manager tried to call the credit card company. The man then assaulted the manager in an attempt to get the card back. The man fled the store and got into a silver sedan with New York license plates. CFS 11-0113435
Between 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 8 and 7 p.m. on Oct. 9, someone stole a white 2006 Ford F–150 with Virginia license plate XHF–6693 from the 12300 block of Spotswood Furnace Road. CFS 11-0115212
On Oct. 10, between 3 and 7 a.m. three people stole a blue 1997 Ford F–150 pickup truck from Redbird Lane in Stoneybrooke. Two of the men were white, and the third was black wearing a white hat, a white pullover or jacket, and what appeared to be an earring in his right ear. The vehicle was located later in Fairfax County. CFS 11-0115432
On Oct. 7 at 7 p.m., a white male, approximately 20 years of age, 6 feet and 175 pounds wearing a blue hoodie, stole a purse from a shopping cart at Food Lion, 6320 Jefferson Davis Highway, while the owner was placing groceries in a vehicle. The suspect ran toward the Lamplighter Motel. A witness described the man as having a large cyst below one of his eyes. CFS 11-0114431
In South Oaks, someone entered an unlocked vehicle on Virginia Pine Court and stole a gray Sony Vaio laptop between 11 p.m. on Oct. 8 and 10 a.m. on Oct. 9. CFS 11-0115170
Between noon on Oct. 9 and 4 p.m. on Oct. 10, someone entered a vehicle on Beechplum Road in Harvestdale and stole a Springfield XD–9 9mm handgun. The victim was not sure if the vehicle had been locked, and there were no signs of forced entry. CFS 11-0115621
In Broad Creek Estates, on Oct. 10 between 1 and 9:30 a.m., someone entered an unlocked vehicle on Broad Creek Overlook and stole a black 800-watt subwoofer. CFS 11-011588
Tobacco Plus, 9965 Jefferson Davis Highway, reported that between 4 and 4:10 p.m. on Oct. 6, several juveniles entered the business and at least one was seen placing a pack of cigars in his pocket. All of the juveniles exited the store without paying. CFS 11-0113982
The YMCA, 5700 Smith Station Road, reported that between 4:30 and 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 10, someone entered an unsecured locker and removed a bank debit card from a book bag. CFS 11-0115675
In Smoketree, someone entered an unlocked vehicle on Oakhurst Drive and stole $2 in change from the center console. CFS 11-0115454
In Salem Fields–Fairfield during the day on Oct. 11, someone stole a Next 26-inch faded blue and silver bicycle with dual front shocks and a wide black seat with flowers from a back porch of a home on Alpha Court. CFS 11-0115974
In Salem Fields–The Glen, a resident on Hot Springs Lane heard a loud bang at 4 a.m. on Oct. 8 and went outside to investigate. He found his mailbox had been vandalized. CFS 11-0114637
Between 8 p.m. on Oct. 8 and 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 9, someone spray-painted numerous words and drawings on some of the buildings located on the grounds of Loriella Park. CFS 11-0115056
During the afternoon and evening of Oct. 10, someone broke the back window of a vehicle parked on Stone Meadow Drive in Stonemill. CFS 11-0115312
Purvis Ford, 3660 Jefferson Davis Highway, reported that between Oct. 8 and Oct. 10, someone damaged the passenger side tailgate of a Ford Explorer parked in the lot. CFS 11-0115480
