C500 endorses Spotsy candidates

The Committee of 500 has just endorsed four candidates for supervisor seats. C500, a Spotsy-based grassroots political action committee, has chosen candidates for each of the four positions up for election on the Board of Supervisors:

• Chancellor: Hap Connors
• Courtland: Jerry Logan
• Livingston: Raymond Bell
• Salem: Don Holmes

The committee’s eight board members chose the endorsed candidates after collecting questionnaires and holding personal interviews. The C500′s members also get a say: results from member votes count toward the selections.

C500 chairwoman Cristine Lynch said that the committee will now start campaigning on behalf of the four endorsees.
