A  man parked his car  in the area of Daffodil Drive in Breezewood Forest at about 11:10 p.m. on July 10 and left the vehicle running with the doors unlocked. He told police he went inside his home and asked another resident to keep an eye on his vehicle. When the other resident looked out the window he noticed the vehicle being driven away. The other resident ran outside and followed the vehicle. The stolen vehicle was involved in a crash that occurred on at  Stoney Creek  and Inglewood drives. A black male, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a thin build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, got out of the wrecked vehicle and ran down Inglewood Drive. CFS 11-078313.

Between 10 p.m. on July 9 and 9:45 a.m. on July 10, someone broke the reinforced drive-through window at the Rite Aid at 5215 Plank Road. It doesn’t appear that entry was made. CFS 11-078054.

Someone broke into a residence at 6437 Morris Road in Indian Acres between July 4 and July 9 and stole a  19-inch Philips flat-screen TV with a built-in DVD player, a black-and-white mounted radio, a black Philips DVD player, a George Foreman gas grill and multiple winter jackets. CFS 11-077770.

Someone broke the rear basement door to a residence in the area of Jackson Road in Sheraton Hills East between July 9 and July 12. It doesn’t appear that entry was gained, and nothing was reported stolen. CFS  11-078939.

Someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the area of the 5000 block of Jefferson Davis Highway between July 1 and July 6 and stole a Magellan Roadmate GPS with a 7-inch screen valued at $300. CFS 11-076391.

Between 9 p.m. July 7 and 5:15 a.m.  July 8, someone broke the window of a vehicle parked in the area of Devonne Drive in Devonne Woods and stole a  Garmin 24/60 GPS valued at $300. CFS 11-077121.

On July 10, between 1 a.m. and 11 a.m., someone entered a locked vehicle parked at the Marriott Suites, 4700 Market St., and stole two Dell laptop computers valued at $1,000 each. CFS 11-078227.

In Maple Grove, a resident in the area of Blake Drive said that  between 11 p.m.  July 11 and 7:45 a.m. July 12 someone entered a vehicle through an unlocked rear window and stole a Tom Tom GPS, a black book bag, a V-Tech DVD player, an MP3 player and several DVDs and CDs. CFS 11-078889.

A resident in the area of Cedar Ridge Drive in Leavells Crossing reported that between June 25 and July 6 someone entered a crawl space of a home under renovation and stole about 120 feet of copper piping valued at $300. CFS 11-076668.

Several businesses in the area of the Four-Mile Fork Shopping Center had their copper wiring and piping stolen from their HVAC systems. These crimes occurred sometime between June 29 and July 7. CFS 11-076705, 11-76728.

La Petite Academy, 616 Stoney Creek Drive, reported  July 8 that someone had taken  apart two outdoor air-conditioning units and stripped them of parts. The crime apparently occurred between June 1 and July 6. The value of both units is estimated at $9,000. CFS 11-077358.

Air-conditioning units and copper wiring were stolen from several unoccupied homes in the area of Bragg Road  between July 10 and 12. The value of the stolen property is estimated at about $6,000. CFS 11-078943, 11-078942.

Between July 7 and July 10, someone stole a toolbox containing about $750 worth of tools from a residence in the area of Lake Nan Way. While deputies were investigating the larceny, the victim mentioned that his home was broken into about two months earlier and  $600 was stolen, but he had not reported that incident. CFS 11-078278.

In Heritage Hills between 4  and 4:40 a.m. July 9, someone entered an unlocked garage and then an unlocked vehicle in the area of Heritage Hills Circle and stole a Dell laptop computer valued at $1,000, a Motorola cellphone valued at $150 and several credit cards. CFS 11-077595.

In Livingston Village, between 1 and 6 a.m. July 6, someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole $80 in cash. This crime occurred in the area of Livingston Court. CFS 11-076304.

A locked vehicle in the area of Tidewater Plains Drive in Tidewater Plains was entered between 1 and 6 a.m. July 6 and a JVC flip-down stereo head unit valued at $100 was stolen. CFS 11-076466.

A resident in the area of Glazebrook Drive in Maple Grove  reported that  between 8 p.m. July 11 and 6 a.m. July 12 someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a black iPod Nano valued at $150. CFS 11-078865.

In Lee’s Hill South  between June 25 and July 5,  someone entered an unlocked shed in the area of Leighann Lane and stole a Troybilt lawn mower valued at $150. CFS 11-076312.

Affordable Automotive at 4637 Mine Road reported that during the overnight hours on  July 5 a DirecTV satellite dish valued at $150 was damaged. CFS 11-076245.

On July 9 a vehicle in the area of Galaxie Drive in Millgarden South had its front and rear windows smashed with an unknown object. CFS 11-077638.

During the overnight hours on July 9 several vehicles in the Lee’s Parke subdivision had their windows broken with marbles. During this same period the Ryan Homes sales office door window panels also were broken. CFS 11-077674, 11-077659, 11-077789, 11-077767.

In Salem Fields during the overnight hours of July 9, several vehicles in the area of Whytheville Lane were vandalized. One vehicle had expandable insulation foam inserted into the exhaust pipes, causing $400 in damage. Another vehicle had an unknown chemical liquid poured on the hood that caused about $1,000 in damage. CFS 11-077697, 11-077706.

In Sheraton Hills East during the early hours of July 9, someone broke a vehicle window using a piece of wood. This vandalism occurred in the area of Madison Court. CFS 11-077740.

In Queens Mill between 10 p.m.   June 10 and 4:45 a.m. June 11 someone slashed the front and rear tires of a vehicle parked in the area of Regal Court. CFS 11-078392.

Redeemer Lutheran Church, 5120 Harrison Road, reported that during the overnight hours on  July 10 $5,000 worth of damage was done to the back of the property by a group of skateboarders. CFS 11-078433.

In Breckenridge, a mailbox and planter were vandalized  during the overnight hours of July 10 in the area of Silver Creek Court. CFS 11-078642.
