Election announcements

This is my first election season as a government reporter, so I’m learning as I go. But as I got Ann Heidig’s announcement today, it occurred to me that it would be a good idea to include the announcements on my blog. I’ve been hearing from readers that they want to know more about the candidates. We have coverage planned as the election draws closer, but I thought it might be helpful to read what the candidates say.
