Same bat channel, different bat time
Just wanted to remind you that tonight’s Board of Supervisors meeting will be at 7 p.m., instead of the usual 6 p.m. Supervisors wanted a chance to attend a farewell reception for Spotsylvania County Schools Superintendent Jerry Hill.
Public hearings start at 7:10 and will include a second public hearing on the proposed urban development areas.
Also on the agenda: a vote on whether or not to support the Civil War Trust’s plan to buy the former GM plant. But Jim Campi, head of the trust, tells me that the board won’t vote tonight. Spotsylvania supervisors asked the Civil War Trust for some requests, and the trust needs to take those requests before its board of trustees.
