More redistricting meetings

Just wanted to let you guys know that the redistricting working group will hold two additional meetings:

Monday, April 4:  2-4 p.m.

Wednesday, April 6:  10 a.m.-Noon

Both meetings will be in the same room as previous meetings: Room 405 of the Marshall Center, 8800 Courthouse Rd.

This is on the second floor, take option 2A if using the elevator.

This morning, I just stopped by one of the meetings for the first time. It really gives you a feel for how complex drawing the lines really is. And I’m really impressed with county staff, who can look at an unmarked map of the county and know where roads, subdivisions and telephone lines are. I couldn’t even figure out where my house was.
