Burning caution
UPDATE: Sorry, I did write this wrong. Residents need to burn after 4 p.m. And it turns out the burning caution was definitely needed. The area, including Spotsylvania, dealt with brush fires this weekend.
As of Feb. 15, Spotsylvania residents can’t burn after 4 p.m. if the fire is within 300 feet of, woodland, brush land or fields containing dry grass or other flammable materials.
Tonight, the county urges residents not to burn anything because of expected high winds.
