A Spotsylvania Christmas

It’s the holiday season and, this weekend, Spotsylvania County will offer two chances to celebrate.

Saturday, the 33rd annual Spotsylvania Christmas parade will start at Spotsylvania Middle School and continue to Courthouse Village. The fun starts at 1 p.m. and Santa will make a guest appearance. The rain date is Dec. 11.

Sunday is the annual Spotsylvania Courthouse Christmas Luminary.At 4:45 p.m., 500 candles will be lit on the courthouse lawn. The old courthouse bell will ring. Sylvannah Baptist Church and Chancellor High School’s chorus will perform.
