National Night Out is Aug. 3

On Tuesday, Aug. 3, head to the Target parking lot in Massaponax for the 27th annual National Night Out hosted by the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office. The event is from 6 to 8:30  p.m. (Sorry!)

There will be free food (hotdogs, barbeque and chicken sandwiches) provided by Famous Dave’s and Chick Fil A, and Pepsi’s and water.

According to Conway Richardson, the chairmanof the Crime and Prevention Council, the event is intended to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, and generate support for local anti-crime programs.

There will be barrel train rides and face painting for the kids, and representatives from Spotsylvania County fire and rescue system, the motorcycle unit demo, K-9 unit, VA State Police, Neighborhood Watch, Crime Solvers, Victim Witness and other volunteer organizations.

Did I say free food? Go have some fun and meet some local law enforcement officials, fire and rescue volunteers and other folks in the community.

Thanks for the update. Ramshead – the time wasn’t originally in the post, which is why I asked.

  • Amazing

Quick question … Are you the Daniel Telvock that was arrested by the Fredericksburg Police for Public Intoxication or was that some other Daniel Telvock in the Fredericksburg area. I’m sure your fan base would love to know the truth. Maybe you should post a blog that addresses the drunken behavior, if that was in fact you. What goes around comes around …

Well it is usually good to have somebody else’s standpoint on things isn’t it? Makes you begin to think properly and honestly, therefore i appreciate your leaning on things, although I might not go along with all you say.
