I’m Back
I have never figured out how to use my phone messaging system to say I am out of the office, and I have never figured out how to do those automated e-mails that say “I am gone until this date.”
Sorry I have been MIA, but I needed a break.
I went on my first vacation in two years and it was all too short. I drove 1,200 miles in two days and went to Atlanta. I saw a Braves game for the first time, making Turner Field my 10th MLB stadium. I am a Braves fan. The game lasted more than four hours and the Braves blew a 4-1 lead in the 9th after Billy Wagner blew the save. It hurt, but the game was fun to watch. I had great seats.
Atlanta is an interesting city. It has more than 10 “mini cities” instead of a place like Chicago that is split into four city quads or San Fran, which is just one vast city. In Atlanta, they have these mini communities with each having its own characteristics. I stayed at a cool, hip place called Highland Inn. I recommend it over any chain hotel.
As you can see, I had great seats:
I also visited a cool record store called Criminal Records. Getting records has become an obsession for me. I spent hours last night listening to some great ones, including an old Ray Charles record I found for $3.
