Spotsylvania Vols join in Basic Pump Operations Class with Powhatan County

Volunteers with Powhatan and Spotsylvania counties joined forces Sunday for a 16-hour basic pump operations class. The volunteers participated in four hours of classroom training and 12 hours of hands-on training.
The training consisted of pumping from a fire hydrant and drafting water from a lake.
