Rest in peace Heidi

Dear Heidi,

We were going to paint a picture together and I only wish I had pursued it more than I did. Your smile was contagious and your personality was bright and bubbly. I loved your sense of humor and I was so giddy when you showed up to see my band play.

I can only thank Stephanie for introducing me to you. I opened the newspaper today to see that you had passed away while I was gone. I was wondering why I woke up this morning and saw that my good friend Stephanie had called me so late. She wanted to talk about you. 

You are now among the beautiful angels. I expect we will do that painting at some point in the future.  Rest in peace, darling. I am really going to miss seeing you around town.
