It is revenue to the county generated by the Spotsylvania Towne Centre from Jan. 1 through June, according to Debbie Williams, the revenue commissioner. 

This figure includes total for a year on the real estate tax and business property tax. 

The amount contains the following taxes:  business license, business property, meals, short term, lodging, sales tax and real estate. 

This means that the mall is by far the county’s biggest taxpayer. Without the mall, your real estate tax rate could possibly be about 4 cents higher.
