Public Hearing tomorrow on Mallard Landing

Tricord’s proposal for 150 homes off Tidewater Trail is up for a public hearing tomorrow. I’m a little late getting to the agenda because I am weeding through the threats and e-mails from some of the local fire-rescue volunteers here. That’s part of the business I suppose. I never knew writing about policy changes would cause so much controversy.

You can read about Mallard Landing here at the bottom. I also just returned from doing an interview with the folks at The Hat Barn in Southpoint I. Great family and cool store. I came out with a hat, too. They tried to sell me a $300 Fedora but I just couldn’t pull the trigger, even though it felt good. Maybe someday, but I haven’t seen a pay increase in two years.
