The 3-acre editorial

Today’s editorial about the 3-acre measure supervisors passed last week had a minor error in it today. The Planning Commission voted 6-1 in favor of allowing a landowner to divide a 3-acre agricultural lot once a year. The writer of the editorial meant to say that the Planning Department recommended that supervisors, and the planning commission, reject the proposal because it goes against the language in the comprehensive plan.

I spoke with the editorial writer today about the piece and a correction will run tomorrow.
