I must thank a few people
When last night’s board meeting ended I got to my car and realized the battery was dead. It was about midnight and I started to fret a little bit. I ran back to the county board room but the doors were locked. I pounded on the door because I knew County Administrator Randy Wheeler and his deputies Doug Barnes and Ernie Pennington were still inside.
As I was about to give up, County Clerk Aimee Mann was leaving the building. She grabbed her jumper cables and Barnes and Pennington helped with jumping my car. The battery was very dead, but within five minutes I was on my way back to the office to write the blog you say up today.
Thanks for your help, everyone.
