Regional Fire-EMS training center to open

This comes from the Spotsylvania County public information officer and I am passing it on to you all:

The public is invited to attend the dedication and ribbon burning scheduled Oct. 6 at 10 a.m., for the Rappahannock Regional Fire and EMS Training Center in Spotsylvania County. Fire and EMS officials and elected officials in Spotsylvania County, the City of Fredericksburg and King George County recognized the need for and financial benefit of a regional training facility to be utilized by the three jurisdictions to provide high-quality training for fire and emergency medical service providers from around the region.  Specialized training in technical rescue, utilities control, fire suppression and apparatus operations will be provided.

The Rappahannock Regional Fire and EMS Training Center is located at 12901 Trench Hill Lane in Spotsylvania.  For further information on the program, the training facility, or for directions, contact Spotsylvania Fire, Rescue and Emergency Management at 540-507-7900.
