Visiting Riverbend built a 10-point lead after a close first half, but with the help of Bianca Dittman and its pressure defense, Mountain View rallied for a 44–38 Commonwealth District win on Friday night.
Dittman scored five of her game-high 17 points and grabbed six rebounds in the final period for the Wildcats.
With leading scorer Chelsea Keyser in foul trouble, Jessi Dixon and Jasmin Nguyen combined for 10 points in the decisive 18–2 run to end the game.
Mountain View hosts Brooke Point on Monday.
