North Stafford’s Lyndon White hit a 3-point buzzer-beater at the end of regulation to force overtime where the Wolverines eventually were able to capture a 55–50 Commonwealth District boys basketball win against Riverbend on Monday night.

White recorded 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Wolverines.

Usie Miller had 10 rebounds for North Stafford, which travels to Mountain View tonight.

Chris Holmes recorded a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds to lead Chancellor Battlefield District win.

Wayne Hawkins scored 15 points to help the Cougars come from behind and tie the game in regulation.

Trailing by five with two minutes left in the overtime period, Chancellor’s seniors—Holmes, Ryan Greer and Dre Edwards—combined to shoot 8-of-10 from the free-throw line.

The Chargers, host Colonial Forge tonight.

DeLante’ Victory had 31 points and 15 rebounds, and Aaron Alexander scored 25 with seven assists against the previously-unbeaten Evangel of Dale City.
