COLONIAL FORGE 62, RIVERBEND 27

Kenya Holland had 10 points, nine steals and seven assists to help the Colonial Forge girls basketball team get a 62–27 win over visiting Riverbend and clinch the Commonwealth District regular-season title on Monday night.

The Eagles (18–2, 14–0) will be the top seed in next month’s district tournament.

Nichole Collins totaled 16 points, and Jahla Osborne added 10 rebounds and five blocks for the Eagles, who visit Orange on Friday.

Alan Courtney added 11 points and five rebounds for Spotsylvania, and Bilal Marlowe had nine points and four assists. The Knights visit King George Tuesday.
