Bianca Dittman scored 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds to pace the Mountain View girls basketball team to a 36–32 Commonwealth District victory over visiting Stafford Saturday.
Taylor Fernow sank two free throws to put the Wildcats up by four with 15 seconds remaining.
Mountain View (11–6, 6–5) travels to Albemarle on Tuesday.

Alexis Willis scored 13 points and Brianne Comden and Tamanya Jones added 10 apiece to lead Massaponax past North Stafford.
Comden added 14 rebounds, and Patrice Hounshell pitched in with seven assists and four steals to go with her eight points.
China Allen–Window and Caitlin Hite each scored eight points to pace North Stafford.
Massaponax will travel to Orange Tuesday.

Lyndon White scored 16 points and snared nine rebounds as the Wolverines defeated the host Panthers in a game that was not as close as the score indicates.
North Stafford led by 11 points with a minute to go before the Panthers trimmed the final deficit to three.
The Wolverines (13–4, 10–3) host Riverbend on Tuesday night.
