Prep Gymnastics: Wilhelm, Indians shine

Brooke Point’s Dylana Wilhelm won the Navy Division all-around title and Stafford claimed the team crown at Saturday’s Aloha Invitational gymnastics meet at Patriot High School in Woodbridge.
Wilhelm finished first on bars (9.35), beam (9.825) and floor (9.825) en route to an all-around score of 38.425. Stafford’s Ashley Hinton (37.2) was second as the Indians outscored runner-up Battlefield 110.65–105.875 in the team competition.
North Stafford’s Siobhan Bernard won the Silver Division all-around title (36.65).

NAVY DIVISION
Bars: 2. Madison Amos (St) 8.8; 3. Alexis Bush (St) 8.7; 4. Bria O’Kelly (St) 8.65.
Beam: 2. Hinton (St) 9.625; 5. Haley Cooper (Colonial Forge) 9.15.
Floor: 2. Naomi Jones (St) 9.675; 3. Hinton (St) 9.625.
SILVER DIVISION
Vault: 1. Siobhan Bernard (NS) 9.5.
Bars: 1. Bernard (NS) 9.475.
Beam: 5. Bernard (NS) 8.15.
Floor: 1. Bernard (NS) 9.525; 4. Allie Hayman (NS) 8.65.
