Prep Girls Basketball Roundup

North Stafford’s China Allen–Window scored five points in the final five seconds, capping the Wolverines’ comeback in a 42–41 girls basketball win against Brooke Point on Tuesday.

Allen–Window converted a three-point play with five seconds remaining to draw North Stafford to within one point. Christine Jackson then stole the inbounds pass and dished to Caitlin Hite, who found Allen–Window under the basket for the game-winner from close range.

Jackson finished with 11 points and 15 rebounds and Hite had 11 steals for North Stafford, which plays at Hylton on Thursday.

Bo Hayes compiled a double-double with 13 rebounds and 11 points for Caroline, which is off until hosting its Christmas Tournament on Dec. 27–28.
