PLAYER OF THE YEAR
NATALIE BOHMKE
Stafford junior
An all-Commonwealth District and Northwest Region first-team pick, Bohmke was the defensive anchor for the Indians’ region championship squad. She scored just two goals, but had 14 assists and made five defensive saves.
FIRST TEAM
BRYCE BARNES
Mountain View senior
Barnes, an all-Northwest Region and Commonwealth District first-team selection, transitioned from the defense to the midfield and was a key piece for the Wildcats.
McKENZIE BOWLER
Stafford senior
Bowler, the coaches’ choice for Commonwealth District and Northwest Region player of the year, led Stafford with 17 goals and had 10 assists.
CHLOE FERNANDEZ
Chancellor junior
An all-Group AA first-team choice, the Chargers’ top forward led the team in goals as Chancellor marched to its state championship.
HANNAH FISHER
James Monroe junior
Fisher, a midfielder, was the key to James Monroe’s attack this season. She finished the fall with 20 goals and 12 assists for the Yellow Jackets.
OLIVIA HUBERT
Mountain View sophomore
The Wildcats’ center midfielder earned all-region first-team honors for her play this year. She finished with 21 goals and handed out 23 assists.
KATHERINE HULL
Chancellor junior
The Chargers’ center midfielder was the Battlefield District’s player of the year and earned a share of the VHSCA’s Group AA all-state player of the year honors.
CAITLYN NOLAN
Mountain View senior
Nolan didn’t face many shots, but when she did she was outstanding. Her performance in the Group AAA quarterfinals helped lift the Wildcats against Westfield.
MEGHAN NORAIR
Fredericksburg Academy junior
The DAC’s player of the year powered Fredericksburg Academy to the VISCAA Division 2 state title. She finished with 26 goals and 10 assists.
MORGAN SKAVDAHL
Mountain View senior
Skavdahl was in the middle for what was maybe the area’s toughest defense. She earned all-region and all-district first-team honors.
LIZ WASHINGTON
Brooke Point junior
Washington was the anchor of the Brooke Point attack. She finished with 15 goals and was an all-Commonwealth District first-team selection.

Chancellor
Larkin’s Battlefield District regular-season champions went on to beat four-time defending state champ Tabb in the Group AA/A final to capture the Chargers’ third state title.

Kelly McNult, Massaponax Jr.—Scored seven goals for Panthers
Kenzie Raines, Massaponax Sr.—All-region second-team selection
Jordan Rasure, Chancellor Fr.—Earned all-Group AA honors
Nikki Simpao, Colonial Forge So.—All-region pick had 10 goals, 10 assists
