PLAYER OF THE YEAR
BROOKE SANDERS
Colonial Forge junior
Sanders was the Commonwealth District player of the year as the Eagles enjoyed another strong season. She led the team in assists (537), had 53 aces and was second on the team with 195 kills.
FIRST TEAM
ANNA GALLUP
Courtland junior
The Battlefield District’s player of the year led the Cougars in kills (246), blocks (81) and aces (50). She was also a Region I first-team pick.
JASMINE JONES
Brooke Point junior
Jones, an all-district first-team pick, finished with 110 blocks and 49 aces—both enough to lead her team. The middle hitter was also an all-region second-teamer.
HOPE KELLEY
Colonial Forge junior
A Commonwealth District and Northwest Region first-team pick, Kelley was Forge’s best offensive weapon. She led the team with 302 kills and had 53 aces.
CALLI STOTT
Spotsylvania senior
The Knights’ outside hitter finished with 182 kills and 45 aces. She was a Battlefield District first-teamer, and a Region I second-team selection.
SHEA SULLIVAN
Chancellor junior
Sullivan was the Chargers’ most valuable player this year, finishing with 373 kills and 196 digs. She was an all-Region I and all-district first-team pick.
GABBY VESS
Fredericksburg Christian junior
A first-team all-conference and all-state pick for
Fredericksburg Christian, Vess finished her season with 221 kills, 48 aces and 159 digs.

LOU WONDREE
Spotsylvania
Wondree continued a string of success that’s grown at Spotsylvania since his arrival. This year, the Knights finished second in the district, their best Battlefield finish since at least 1999.

Maddie Scovell, Colonial Forge Sr.—A versatile player for Eagles
