Prep Roundup: Panthers edge Black–Hawks in girls baskeball

Homestanding Brooke Point fell behind at the half before rallying in the second half, only to miss six free throws in the final quarter in a 36–35 Commonwealth District girls basketball loss to visiting Massaponax on Thursday.

Rachael Payne had nine rebounds and Ashlee Lowe four steals for the Black–Hawks, who visit Orange on Tuesday.
