Delante Victory scored 27 points to lead Fredericksburg Christian to a season-opening 72–61 boys basketball win at Spotsylvania Monday night.

A.J. Addison had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Eagles, who compete in the Atlantic Shores tournament this weekend in Chesapeake.

Devin Kennedy led the Knights (0–1) with 19.

Chelsea Keyser added 12 points for the Wildcats, who host James Monroe in Wednesday’s 7 p.m. championship game.

Carley Armentrout scored 16 points for the Foxes, who take on Gar–Field in Wednesday’s third-place game.

Danielle Bumbrey added 12 points, five assists and four steals, while Jazmine Moore grabbed six rebounds for the Yellow Jackets, who take on Mountain View in Wednesday’s championship.
