Prep Roundup: Chargers get by Cyclones

CHANCELLOR 3, EASTERN VIEW 0
Chloe Fernandez had two goals and an assist to help Chancellor take home a 3–0 Battlefield District field hockey win at Eastern View on Wednesday.
Katherine Hull provided the other score and an assist for the Chargers (12–2, 12–0), while Chelsea Galera and Kenzie Neylon also helps set up goals.
Chancellor has a chance to lock up sole possession of first place in the district if it can get a win at James Monroe on Monday.
KING GEORGE 6, CAROLINE 0
Meghan Yanchulis tallied four goals and Mia Meyer added one goal and two assists for King George in a Battlefield District home win.
Nicole Wood also scored, while Shelby King and Kendall Powell had an assist each for the Foxes (7–4, 7–4), who entertain Eastern View on Friday.
Chandler Moison and Cassandra Cooper both played well, as did Rebecca Calhoun, Coral Osborn-Peraza, and goalie Paige Simulcik for the Cavaliers, who visit Culpeper on Monday.
