North Stafford graduate John Maine won his third straight decision for Triple-A Scranton–Wilkes–Barre Thursday, allowing three hits in seven shutout innings in a 5–0 win over Lehigh Valley. Maine is 8–5 with a 4.97 ERA.
After going 1–0 with a 3.27 ERA in 11 appearances for rookie-league Bristol, Stafford grad Adam Lopez was promoted to Kannapolis of the Class-A South Atlantic League and struck out four in two scoreless innings against Savannah Friday night.
Colonial Forge grad Jarrett Parker is batting ,247 with 15 homers, 67 RBIs and 26 stolen bases for Class-A San Jose.
King George grad Damion Carroll is 1–0 with a 2.33 ERA in 10 appearances for the rookie-league Gulf Coast Rays.
Colonial Forge grad Levi Hyams is batting .254 with five homers, 27 RBIs and seven steals for rookie-league Danville.
Mountain View grad Kyle Haynes is 2–2 with a 4.56 ERA and seven saves in 19 outings for Class-A State College (Pa.).
Spotsylvania grad Cody Wheeler is 3–0 with a 1.91 ERA in 13 appearances for Class-A Yakima (Wash.).
