F, North Stafford junior
The Commonwealth District’s player of the year and an all-Northwest Region second-team selection, Slora finished her junior year with 29 goals and eight assists.
FIRST TEAM:
F MARYBETH McBROOM
Courtland sophomore
McBroom scored 24 goals with 14 assists and was named the Battlefield District’s player
of the year. She was also a Region I first-team pick.
F SHANNON WRATCHFORD
Spotsylvania freshman
Wratchford has emerged early as a leading scorer in the district. She finished with 21 goals and six assists in her first varsity season.
F SYDNEY ARNOLD
Colonial Forge Junior
Even while drawing the attention from most teams’ top defenders, Arnold managed 23 goals and 10 assists, and was an all-Northwest Region first-teamer.
F TIFFANY DuBECK
Chancellor senior
Last year’s Free Lance–Star player of the year had another standout season, earning all-Battlefield and all-Region I first-team honors.

Mountain View senior
A N.C. State recruit, Tomayko led Mountain View with 11 goals in just 10 games. She earned all-Commonwealth District first-team honors.

Courtland senior
Peregory was the top vote-getter on the Battlefield District’s first team among all midfielders. She was also an all-Region I first-team selection.
MF ERIKA BOGGS
Fred. Academy senior
Boggs, the Falcons’ best playmaker, posted a team-leading 13 goals and five assists and was the DAC player of the year. She’ll play at VMI next fall.

Colonial Forge sophomore
One of the district’s top defenders, Serrano earned all-district and all-region first-team honors. She also piled up 11 assists while playing in the back.

James Monroe sophomore
Easily one of the Battlefield District’s best defenders, Fisher was a first-team all-Battlefield pick, and honorable mention on the Region I team.

Colonial Forge sophomore
Carr had more than 111 saves and collected nine shutouts for the Eagles, including three in the postseason, none bigger than a 1–0 win in the district final.
