North Stafford senior
A starter since he was a freshman, Kennedy leaves the Wolverines as one of their best players ever. He rewrote the school’s record book, striking out 361 batters, including 100 this year with an 0.68 ERA.
P DAMION CARROLL
King George senior
The Group AA Player of the Year, Carroll powered the Foxes’ run
to the playoffs with his arm and his bat. He fired two no-hitters, struck out 131 and hit .420 with seven home runs and 29 RBIs.
DANIEL NOBBS
Eastern View
With just one starter back, Nobbs guided the Cyclones to their fourth straight Battlefield District title game, where they lost
to state playoff participant King George by one run in extra innings.
C BEN PITTMAN
Eastern View junior
A former infielder, Pittman moved behind the plate and responded with a breakout performance. He hit .364, drove in 22 runs and earned all-Battlefield and all-Region I honors.
IF GEOFF CIESLEWITZ
North Stafford senior
A three-time All-Area selection, Cieslewitz capped a stellar career for the Wolverines with another strong year. Besides batting .422, he was a standout infielder and the No. 2 starter on the mound.
IF DYLAN DOMBROWSKAS
King George senior
This reliable senior was a stalwart at first, as well as a clutch hitter for coach Thad Reviello’s squad. An all-Battlefield District first-team pick, he hit .430 with 19 runs.
IF CRAIG LOPEZ
Mountain View senior
Lopez helped anchor the Wildcats’ defense with his steady play at short and was also the team’s closer on the mound. He hit .361 with 10 stolen bases and is headed to VCU next season.
IF ANTHONY MALOCU
Colonial Forge junior
This all-Commonwealth District third baseman helped the Eagles advance to the regional playoffs for the seventh time in nine years. He batted . 370, smacked 10 doubles and scored 16 runs.
OF TREVOR TALLEY
Spotsylvania senior
Talley helped spark the Knights to a share of the Battlefield District title and a return to the Region I playoffs after a three-year absence. He batted a team-best .430 and collected 25 RBIs.
OF RYAN LEAKE
Stafford senior
This versatile outfielder hit .382 and was a big catalyst in the Indians’ late-season turnaround. A solid defender, he also struck out 11 in a Northwest Region playoff win over Patrick Henry.
OF NATE YATES
Eastern View sophomore
A major contributor for the Cyclones, Yates was an all-district and all-region pick in his first year as a starter. The athletic sophomore stole 19 bases and scored 17 runs while hitting .372.
DH CHASE BOSTER
Colonial Forge senior
A key cog in the Eagles’ march to the Commonwealth District titles, Boster led the team in hitting with a .385 average and 18 RBIs. He won eight games as a pitcher and will play at Marshall University.

Riverbend senior
This UNC-–Charlotte-bound senior was a force on the hill and at the plate. In addition to posting a .421 batting average and belting five home runs, he also threw the first no-hitter in school history.
