Colonial Forge graduate Jarrett Parker is red-hot after a prolonged slump at Class-A San Jose. He went 3 for 4 with a triple, three RBIs and a stolen base in Friday’s 10–4 loss to Bakersfield. He’s batting .234 with five homers, 18 RBIs and 12 steals.
In his first start at Class-A Delmarva, Chancellor grad Justin Moore allowed eight runs (four earned) in four innings and took a 12–0 loss to Hagerstown Thursday. He was 0–4 with a 9.17 ERA at Frederick.
University of Mary Washington grad Parker Talbot is 0–1 with a 6.75 ERA in two appearances for the Alpine (Texas) Cowboys of the independent Pecos League.
Brooke Point grad Evan Houde is also on the Cowboys’ roster but has not pitched.
