June 7: Potomac River Fisheries Commission regular meeting, 9 a.m., John T. Parran Hearing Room of Commission Building, 222 Taylor Street, Colonial Beach. Agenda includes crab and oyster harvest reports, report from Pound Net Sub-committee, report on blue crab winter dredge survey, update from Blue Ribbon Oyster Panel, and review of annual fish compliance reports submitted to ASMFC.

June 16: Quail & Upland Wildlife Federation fundraiser benefiting wildlife habitat and youth programs of Virginia. Shady Grove Kennels, Remington, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Open to all.
