UMW: Eagles defeat No. 11 Cardinals in women’s lacrosse

Catherine Kennedy scored five goals as the 18th-ranked University of Mary Washington women’s lacrosse team rallied from a halftime deficit to post a 14–10 victory over homestanding No. 11 Catholic University in a rematch of last season’s NCAA tournament first-round game.
Lauren Callison scored four times, including the go-ahead goal, while and goaltender Kathryn Stiltz made 13 saves and limited the Cardinals to three second-half goals.
Mary Washington (3–1) travels to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to face Roanoke College on March 6.will return to action on March 6 when they face Roanoke College in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
