Mel Boothe scored 10 of her 11 points in the fourth quarter to help Mountain View get a 47–43 win over visiting Woodbridge in its own tournament championship last night.

Laquetta Hairston went

6-for-9 from the free throw line in the final period for the Wildcats, who visit Colonial Forge tomorrow.

QUAD MEET AT COURTLAND

Chancellor’s wrestling team was 3–0, sweeping Spotsylvania (66–18), Courtland (72–9) and Massaponax (55–21) in a quad-match at Courtland yesterday.

Mark Weinstock (120), Ian Amory (126), Andrew Garrett (132), Evan Jeffords (138), Nate Garrett (145), Wes King (152), Ethan Upperco (170), Brandon Gallahan (195) and Matt Lector (Hwy) were all 3–0 for the Chargers.

The Chargers wrestle in Spotsylvania’s 10-team dual tournament this Saturday.
