Redskins Urge Fans To Arrive Early Monday, Will Keep Metro Open An Extra Hour
By ZAC BOYER
ASHBURN – The Washington Redskins are urging fans planning to attend the game against the New York Giants on Monday night to arrive early at FedEx Field or take the Metro to avoid any potential delays because of traffic.
The FedEx Field parking lots will open at 4:30 p.m. and gates will open at 6:30 p.m. for the game, which will start at 8:30 p.m.
The Redskins have also paid for an extra hour of Metro service, with the last Blue Line train leaving the Morgan Boulevard station, approximately a mile from the stadium, leaving at 12:25 a.m.
Washington last hosted a Monday game on Nov. 15, 2010, when Philadelphia defeated the Redskins 59-28.
