Robert Griffin III Named Offensive Rookie Of The Month For November By NFL
ASHBURN – Robert Griffin III was named the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Month on Thursday for the second time, acknowledging his performance in November and marking the second time he has won the award this season.
Griffin, who also won in September, is the first player in team history to win either the offensive or defensive player award twice in a season. He is also the first player to win either award twice in a season since St. Louis quarterback Sam Bradford did so in 2010.
Griffin completed 69.1 percent of his passes for 726 yards and eight touchdowns as the Redskins won two of three games in November. He had a quarterback rating of 124.3 during the month.
Tampa Bay running back Doug Martin earned the honor in October.
