Looking For Help At Inside Linebacker, Redskins Sign Jonathan Goff
Jonathan Goff, an inside linebacker who missed all of last season with a torn ACL in his right knee, signed a contract with the Washington Redskins on Monday.
Goff, 26, spent the previous four seasons with the New York Giants and started all 16 games in 2010, making 52 tackles with a sack. He tore the ligament in practice in September in the week leading up to the Giants’ season-opener against the Redskins.
The Redskins recently signed veteran Bryan Kehl to compete for time as a backup to and drafted Keenan Robinson of Texas in the fourth round of the NFL Draft this past weekend.
