Redskins’ DT Joe Joseph arrested on DUI charge
Redskins defensive tackle Joe Joseph was arrested early this morning and charged with driving under the influence.
Vince Di Benedetto, the acting public information officer for the Loudoun County Sheriff’s office, confirmed that Joe Louis Joseph, 25, was arrested at 3 a.m. for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Joseph was released this afternoon on his own recognizance.
“We’re gathering all the information, and we will have a comment at the appropriate time,” Redskins spokesman Tony Wyllie said.
Joseph made his NFL debut in yesterday’s 20-17 win over Jacksonville. He did not register a tackle.
