Agent: Larry Johnson was at a doctor’s appointment

It turns out that Larry Johnson’s media availability didn’t go off as scheduled today because Johnson was at a doctor’s appointment, his agent, Peter Schaffer, said this evening.

Schaffer said that the matter does not involve Johnson’s physical ability to play, and he emphasized that the offseason workouts are, in fact, voluntary.

The Redskins, however, didn’t seem to be aware of this appointment when they postponed Johnson’s media session in the afternoon.

Apparently, this is nothing more than some minor growing pains for new team and player.
