MediCorp has annual election
MediCorp Health System held its annual meeting last night for the election of members to its Board of Trustees. Two current members were re-elected, and one new member joined the board.
John Fick, below, the board chairman since January, was elected to his second term. He is president and CEO of J.F. Fick Inc., a local beer distributor. Fick was a MediCorp board member from 1993 to 2004. He returned to the board in 2007.
Jonathan Wallace also was elected to his second term. He is area president for First Market Bank and will become regional president when First Market merges with Union Bank.
Clarence Robinson was elected to his first term on the board. He replaces Jane Ingalls. Robinson has been director of fiscal affairs for the city of Fredericksburg since 1986.
MediCorp is the parent company of Mary Washington Hospital, Stafford Hospital Center and a number of other local health care businesses.
