Expo hosting third annual Pet Show on Sept. 20-21

The Fredericksburg Expo Center will host the third annual Pet Show on Sept. 20 and 21.

The show will feature all types of pet-related services and products. Shelters and rescue groups will also have some pets available for adoption.

Experts on hand will include staff from local veterinarians, kennels, animals hospitals, groomers and trainers. Pet supplies, training tips, prizes and even a pet talent contest are part of this year’s event.

You can also check out the “Reptiles Alive” demonstration, touch some of those creatures and check out a petting zoo with more than 30 types of animals, plus the Bug Box Zoo.

Also expected are therapy dogs, agility demonstrations, and miniature horses.

Well-behaved and leased pets are welcome to attend.

The show runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 20 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 21.

Cost is $9 at the door, $8 online. Children and seniors age 60 and over also pay $8. Pets are free.
