VIDEO: Irish TV Covers Fredericksburg 150th

It’s only natural, given what the Irish Brigade sacrificed in the Battle of Fredericksburg 150 years ago.

The Irish Embassy sent its ambassadorial representative. The Irish Defense Forces sent an honor guard. And the New York Army National Guard sent 75 members of the 68th New York Infantry, descendant of the brigade itself.

And Irish television, the county’s national public service broadcaster, sent a video crew to record the re-dedication of the Irish Brigade monument at Fredericksburg’s City Dock on Sunday.
