Join Dave Muraca, director of archaeology at Ferry Farm–George Washington’s boyhood home in Stafford County, as he presents a talk about the Washington family and its life on the Rappahannock River across from Fredericksburg.
Muraca’s talk, “The Effect of the Death of Augustine Washington Upon His Family and Slaves,” is scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, at the Headquarters Theater, Central Rappahannock Regional Library, 1201 Caroline St.
